Good morning - We are experiencing a reduction in electrical power at Frank Harrison Middle School, similar to the issue that was addressed earlier this school year (portions of the building have full power, while others do not). Fortunately, copious amounts of sunlight and warmer daytime temperatures will allow us to hold school today. Central Maine Power and contracted electricians will be on-site to address the concern this morning.

Yesterday, HMS celebrated National Poetry Month with our second and final Poetry Kabaam of the school year!

Our 7th graders welcomed nine medical professionals this morning to talk about topics as varied as epidemiology, thoracic surgery, and pediatric heart care as well as supporting students in their study of the circulatory system via pig dissection. Many thanks to our community volunteers, including Dr. Ting (pictured), for deepening our study of biology!
