HMS poets had a great time at today's Spring Poetry KaBaam!


Our 7th graders are excited to be learning archery in Physical Education class with Mr. Skilling!


Our students did a wonderful job at our Spirit Week Assembly today! We heard from Michelle Hayes of the Yarmouth Food Pantry, celebrated our Robotics Teams, and played Rock, Paper, Scissors. A fun way to wrap up our Spirit Week as a whole school community!


HMS student leaders are participating in a training focused on speaking up at school with the Holocaust and Human Rights Center!


Sunday's performances of "Almost, Maine" by the YHS Playmakers have been cancelled due to power outages, fallen trees around YHS, and dangerous sidewalk and parking lot conditions. We will keep you informed of any updates.

Seventh-grader Lily Kew's artwork has been selected for the Youth Art Month Exhibit at the Portland Museum of Art! You are encouraged to visit the museum to see Lily's piece on display. Congratulations, Lily!


HMS 7th graders are eager to help those arriving to donate blood during the Red Cross Blood Drive.


The seventh-grade class at Frank H. Harrison Middle School in Yarmouth is hosting a community blood drive on Wednesday, March 13 from 2:30-7:30 PM.

Congratulations to 8th Grader, Max Miller, this year's recipient of the 2024 Steingart Music Education Award. With this award comes a $1000.00 grant for Max to use toward musical lessons and pursuits. Congratulations, Max!


Sylvie Lemay and Patrick Gerrard, 6th graders, came in fourth place in the IPEVO Stop Motion & Time Lapse Contest with their project My Dream Adventure (sound on). This competition was open to residents of the US or Canada.

Many thanks to our maintenance team for getting the sidewalks, playground, and parking lots ready for the opening of school at 10 AM this morning! The grounds were safe for our students and staff (the trees were beautiful, too).


MONDAY, JANUARY 29: There will be a two-hour delay to the start of schools in Yarmouth. There will be no morning Pre-K. Buses will run two hours later than usual, and the school day will end at the regular time.
