Welcome to the first day of school at HMS! So great to see over 125 bicycles on our bike racks this morning. With 550 students at HMS this year, that means more than 20% of our students rode their bikes to school today. (Side note: We love middle school math!)

Yesterday, we welcomed nine new staff members to HMS at our "New-to-Yarmouth" orientation! We are thrilled that our new teachers and specialists (and principal!) will be working with our students. And many thanks to our mentors who will support our new staff members all year!

In twelve days, our students and teachers who have been in portable classrooms this fall will move into classrooms in our new addition. We are looking forward to having everyone under the same roof for the first time since the 1990s!
