The Maine Principals’ Association (MPA) approved the start of high school Fall Sports beginning September 14, 2020. Participation and Competition Guidelines were created by the MPA that align with guidelines from the Maine CDC, Maine Department of Economic and Community Development, Department of Health and Human Services, Maine Department of Education, and the Governor’s Office. Yarmouth Athletics will provide HMS students the opportunity to participate in Fall Sports programs that will follow those guidelines as well. Fall Sports Information HMS Fall Sports will begin on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Team practices will focus on conditioning, skill development, and intrasquad competition. There will be no games played vs opponents outside HMS. There will be a virtual meeting held for athletes and parents by the coach of each team on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Specific details and links to those meetings will be provided on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.
