We are proud of this year's GeoBee participants for demonstrating their knowledge and skills at the school Bee! These students include: Isabel Peters, David Swift, Will McDowell, Macie Berry, Liam Hannah, Sierra Hunt, Tristan Hardel and Annie Vinnakota. Our 6th grade students hosted an exciting Winter Reading Celebration for 2nd grade students from YES! Everyone loved the crafts and reading activities. Thanks to the 2nd grade team, the 6th grade team, and Molly Kilpatrick for creating this wonderful, shared learning experience!
HMS students in grades 5-8 revelled in the recent special library offerings, which continue to enrich, amaze, and delight our students! The activities included the return of the much loved Rubik’s Cube challenge, and Harry Potter week! Thank you Merry Stuhr, Tracy Weinrich, Nancy Castonia, and all of our incredible library volunteers who make these opportunities possible for our students!
Our 7th graders enjoyed a fascinating kickoff to the Disease/Disorder of the Week project with a presentation by Dr. Cady, who shared his knowledge and expertise about the Himalayan Cataract Project with our students. Thanks to Dr. Cady and the 7th grade team for arranging this informative learning experience:
