Congratulations to our outstanding music educators, Mrs. Stebbins and Mrs. Troy, on being awarded a generous grant from the Yarmouth Education Foundation to support innovative music programming at Yarmouth Elementary School!
Their grant, Unified Band Instruction with NUVO Instruments, will provide a classroom set of adaptive pre-band instruments designed to make instrumental music more accessible for all students, including those with high support needs. Beginning next school year, every fourth-grade student will have the opportunity to explore wind instruments, build foundational music skills, and participate in an inclusive band experience through Unified Arts.
This exciting project will enrich the student experience by promoting creativity, collaboration, confidence, and a sense of belonging through music. It will also strengthen the school’s growing Unified Music program, where students of all abilities learn and make music together.
We are deeply grateful to the Yarmouth Education Foundation for investing in opportunities that expand access, foster innovation, and bring joy to our students. Thank you, Mrs. Stebbins and Mrs. Troy, for your vision and dedication to creating meaningful experiences for every learner!
