Dear Parents and Guardians,  

HMS is pleased to partner with our PTO to create a WAVE OF KINDNESS WITH RAISE CRAZE!

-This link will take you directly to the Yarmouth PTO site so you can sign up to participate, and create an account with your child(ren).  

Please take a moment to read this message from our PTO:  

We hope you had a restful break and are excited for the Wave of Kindness with Raise Craze, which will be held from March 1-15. Information packets are coming home this week to ALL K-8 students.  

We will hold three events to give students the opportunity to help our wider community:  

1. To kick off The Wave, all K-8 families are invited to a family activity night this Friday, March 1, from 5:30-7:30 pm, in the HMS cafeteria. We’ll have Acts of Kindness stations, including making dog and cat toys for shelter animals, placemat decorating for Meals on Wheels recipients, kindness rock paintings to give as presents…and much more! We will also have food for purchase; all proceeds will go to the YCAN Lunch Crunch program.  

-If you would like to contribute to the Kindness Café, you can sign up here.  

-If you would like to help us set up for the event or help at a kindness station, please click here. We’d love to work with both teens and adults, including YHS students!  

2. Not able to make it this Friday? We will hold a second, similar event on March 9, from 11:00-2:00 pm, at the Yarmouth Historical Society. This event is for students and adults of all ages.  

3. For HMS students, we are holding a game night at Bay Square assisted living facility on the evening of March 11, time TBD.
