Dear HMS Families,  

Your children and the HMS staff did a remarkable job with today's unplanned evacuation. Our students listened to all prompts and directions, and our staff prioritized our students' safety during the time they had to be out of the building. We extend our thanks to Mr. Gleason and the YES staff for their warm welcome and to Dr. Dolloff for keeping you apprised of the situation through his communication!  

As Dr. Dolloff shared, we had to evacuate the building because of a false alarm due to dust in the isolated construction area. Everyone is back safely now, drying off, warming up, eating lunch and getting back into regular routines.
